Dolby Laboratories and Rednote announced on 29 May 2026 that Dolby Atmos content sharing had launched on the short-form video platform.
The addition is intended to let creators publish video with a more immersive spatial-audio experience. It builds on Rednote's earlier integration of Dolby Vision in 2024 and reflects the growing use of advanced sound and picture formats in creator-driven social media.
Support may depend on the Rednote app version, device, region and whether particular content was produced and uploaded in a compatible format. The announcement should not be read as meaning that all Rednote videos automatically use Dolby Atmos.
