The International Communication Association (ICA) has opened its call for the 77th Annual ICA Conference, themed “Centering the Human: Communication in an Age of Uncertainty.” The conference will take place in Glasgow, Scotland, from 3 to 7 June 2027.
The theme invites research on communication amid artificial intelligence, geopolitical instability, democratic backsliding, climate emergency and other overlapping uncertainties. Divisions and interest groups cover mass communication, journalism, public relations, mobile communication, communication law and policy, political communication, visual communication and related areas.
